Belov Git

Your own Git, included with your hosting.

Private repositories for every project at git.belov.cloud. Sign in with your Belov Cloud account, push to deploy, give your team the access their role already has, and get every repository backed up on your plan's schedule — no GitHub account required, and nothing extra to pay.

Why it matters

Your code shouldn't depend on someone else's account.

Most hosts deploy from GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket — so a suspended account, an outage or a policy change at your Git provider freezes your deploys, however healthy your servers are. Belov Git keeps your code next to where it runs, on infrastructure we operate, with backups stored off the Git server. Built on Forgejo, the open-source forge behind Codeberg.

What you get

Everything you used GitHub for, inside your hosting.

Unlimited private repositories

Every project gets a home at git.belov.cloud — branches, pull requests, issues, releases and a wiki. Private to your team by default, with no per-repository or per-seat charge.

Sign in with Belov Cloud

No second account and no new password: Belov Git signs you in with the account you already use for your sites. Your email has to be confirmed, and two-factor protects both at once.

Push to deploy

Point a Node.js, Next.js or static app at a repository and every push to its branch ships — through the same isolated build, health check and automatic rollback as any deploy. No deploy keys to copy, no webhooks to wire.

Access that follows your team

Owners and admins manage everything, developers push to every repository, and a developer limited to certain sites only sees the repositories those apps build from. Remove someone from the team and their Git access ends in the same moment.

Backups on your plan

Every repository is backed up automatically — the full history, every branch and tag, encrypted and stored away from the Git server: weekly on Front, daily on Pro and Full-stack, daily with 30 days of history on Scale. Download any backup and restore it with plain Git.

Move in, in one step

Import from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or any HTTPS address. Add an access token and issues, pull requests and releases come across too — or push every branch and tag from your own copy when the old host isn't reachable.

Standard Git, everywhere

SSH keys or access tokens over HTTPS — it's ordinary Git, so your IDE, the command line, CI scripts and AI coding agents work with it unchanged.

WordPress code, too

Keep your custom theme or plugin in Belov Git and ship it to staging, then live, with rsync over the SSH every WordPress site already has.

Least privilege for builds

Each app reads its code with its own read-only deploy key, granted on exactly one repository. A build can't push, and can't see your other projects.

How hosts compare

Other hosts deploy your code. We also keep it.

Belov Git

Questions about Git hosting.

Does Belov Cloud include Git hosting?

Yes. Every Belov Cloud account can turn on Belov Git: private Git hosting at git.belov.cloud with unlimited private repositories, branches, pull requests and issues. It's included with every hosting plan at no extra cost.

Do I still need a GitHub account?

No. You can keep your code in Belov Git, deploy from it and back it up there — signing in with your Belov Cloud account. If you prefer, apps can still deploy from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Codeberg.

How do I move my repositories from GitHub or GitLab?

Paste the repository's address on the panel's Git page to import it — every branch, tag and the full history; with an access token, issues, pull requests and releases come too. Or push every branch and tag from your own copy, which works even when the old host isn't reachable.

How are my repositories backed up?

Automatically, on your hosting plan's schedule: weekly on Front, daily on Pro and Full-stack, and daily with 30 days of history on Scale. Each backup holds the full history with every branch and tag, is encrypted, and is stored away from the Git server. You can download any backup and restore it with git clone.

Who on my team can see our repositories?

Access follows your Belov Cloud team. Owners and admins manage everything, developers can push to every repository, and a developer limited to certain sites only gets the repositories those apps deploy from. Removing someone from the team ends their Git access immediately.

Does a push deploy my app automatically?

Yes, for Node.js, Next.js and static apps connected to a Belov Git repository: a push to the app's branch starts a deploy within seconds, with the usual isolated build, health check and automatic rollback. You can pause it with the auto-deploy switch.

What is Belov Git built on?

Forgejo — the open-source software forge that also powers Codeberg. You get the familiar repository, pull-request and issue workflow, standard Git over SSH or HTTPS, and nothing proprietary between you and your code.
